Before joining Han Kun, Mr. Yuan previously worked in Big 4 accounting firms and served as an
M&A tax partner. Mr. Yuan has extensive experience in private equity and venture capital tax
optimization projects, enabling him to assist clients through the entire investment management
lifecycle of investment institutions and stakeholders. In addition, Mr. Yuan has substantial expertise
in advising on tax matters regarding capital markets and wealthy individuals. In terms of industries,
Mr. Yuan routinely advises TMT, healthcare and consumer products companies.

Education
Mr. Yuan graduated from Tsinghua University with an LL.B. degree and later from London School
of Economics with a master’s degree in law and accounting.
