So Yin is a consultant in Deacon’s corporate commercial group, specialising in M&A transactions, joint ventures, partnership arrangements, corporate restructuring and commercial contracts.

So Yin was previously a partner at Deacons before spending more than 5 years as in-house counsel at a luxury international hotel group where she had responsibility for all commercial matters outside of the PRC. During her time in-house, she completed several high profile hotel acquisitions and joint ventures and negotiated complex hotel management agreements. She also advised on issues ranging from employee and guest relationship matters, supply and distribution agreements, loyalty schemes, marketing and promotion, competition law and data protection.

Upon rejoining Deacons, So Yin’s practice includes providing clients with strategic commercial and practical advice on all aspects of their general commercial transactions.
