Stephen is an associate in the investment funds and corporate team in Jersey and specialises in advising on investment funds matters, as well as a broad range of corporate, banking and finance matters.

Examples of the types of matters on which Stephen advises his clients include:

• establishment and structuring of private companies, Jersey property unit trusts, limited partnerships, and JV arrangements;
• establishment and on-going operation of investment funds, including expert funds and Jersey private funds;
• acting for borrowers/lenders in connection with high-value third party lending, including real estate financing, acquisition financing and fund financing;
• migrations of companies to/from Jersey; 
• listings on The International Stock Exchange (TISE); and
• general corporate restructuring advice.

Stephen joined Carey Olsen in September 2022 having previously practised with another large offshore law firm in Jersey where he gained vast experience in the areas of finance and corporate M&A.

Stephen qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2019 and was admitted in England & Wales in 2020.
