Tanya Viner is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and Los Angeles Chair of the Corporate Practice group. Ms. Viner’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, representing both the buyer and seller in large complex transactions ranging from the sale of closely-held family businesses to transactions in excess of a billion dollars.

In addition to her mergers and acquisitions practice, Ms. Viner provides day-to-day counseling on a broad range of transactional and governance matters advising emerging growth companies on formation, venture capital financing, licensing, and employment issues, often acting as outside general counsel, and trusted advisor throughout every aspect of growth.

Ms. Viner advises clients on matters in nearly every major business sector, including consumer products, apparel, food and beverage, technology, beauty, financial services, manufacturing, and retail. Currently, she is serving on the Board of The Professional Club.

Working with a close-knit and dedicated team of professionals known for excelling at client service, Ms. Viner’s clients appreciate her practical approach in offering both legal and business advice to ensure their goals are met and the deal gets done.

Ms. Viner is regularly recognized by industry publications for her exceptional work. Most recently she was selected by M&A Global Network as 2023 Women Dealmaker of the Year at the USA Atlas Awards. The Los Angeles Business Journal has recognized her as a 2023 Top Female Attorney, an honor she has received for the last five years. The Los Angeles Business Journal has also recognized her as one of 2020’s Most Influential Private Equity Advisors in Los Angeles, and as a Service Provider of the Year in 2018 at the Annual Fashion and Beauty Awards.
