Valence Rukesha is a Senior Associate at ENS in Rwanda. 

Valence specialises in banking and finance, despite resolution, property and real estate, project finance, project restructuring, shipping and insolvency administration.

His experience includes advising on complex lending issues, structuring of loan syndications and financial markets,  assisting  corporate borrowers in other types of financing transactions, and lenders including development finance institutions (DFIs), multilateral lenders (MDBs) and commercial banks on traditional lending and multimillion dollar project finance transactions.

In addition, Valence is also experienced in  investment projects, energy and alternative disputes resolution and has advised clients in the energy sector.

He is a  member of the Rwanda Bar Association. He was a banker for 11 years before joining ENSafrica and he chaired the Legal Committee of Rwanda Bankers Association for 6 years. Valence is a visiting trainer of Banking and Financial Law at the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD) and Rwanda Academy of Finance (RAF). He is fluent in English and Kinyarwanda and has French as working language.
