Wei Xun is based in Carey Olsen's Singapore office, specialising in the establishment, structuring, maintenance and financing of offshore funds across a wide range of asset classes and strategies.

In addition, he also advises on general corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions as well as regulatory and compliance matters.

Wei Xun formerly trained and practised in the financial services department of Allen & Gledhill, a leading law firm in Singapore, advising clients on the establishment of private real estate funds and listing of real estate investment trusts (REITs) and business trusts on the Singapore Exchange.

In 2018, he joined the funds and investment management team of Clifford Chance in Singapore where he acted for fund managers and sovereign wealth funds in the establishments of and investments in numerous private funds as well as secondary fund transactions.

Wei Xun obtained his LLB from University College London in 2014 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2016. He is also a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
