Profile

Wiemond Wu is a litigation associate with a focus on real estate disputes.  His vast experience covers issues pertaining to land use, landlord-tenant relationships, homeowner and community associations, covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs), unlawful and forcible detainers, and debt collections.  He also has experience in commercial business litigation, trust and estate litigation, construction litigation, and employment litigation.  This breadth of litigation experience places Wiemond in an advantageous position to effectively analyze claims and weed out meritless allegations in any legal context.  His litigation experience spans all phases of litigation and dispute resolution across California state and federal courts.

Significant Accomplishments

Lead litigation attorney for a fully developed Northern California recreational ranch in lawsuits against landowners regarding unpaid assessments and title issues. 

Represented a commercial tenant against former landlord for breach of commercial lease agreement. Case settled favorably for client.

Represented landowners in lawsuit against local public agency for inverse condemnation and real property claims. Case settled favorably for client at mediation.

Advised commercial landlords on lease disputes during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Assisted in appeals regarding inverse condemnation on behalf of local public agency.
