Shoosmiths Launches Coronavirus Client Support Measures
March, 2020 - David Jackson
UK law firm Shoosmiths has been mobilising its legal advisors and support staff to keep its clients up-to-date on the many potential impacts of the coronavirus outbreak.
Its free, online COVID-19 hub is already packed with a wealth of information on topics that might have both short and long-term effects on business.
The hub is updated several times daily on latest developments; from employment law, force majeure, IP, planning, GDPR, competition law to advice on how to work from home while looking after children, or how to liaise with funders.
While the online hub is the external face of the firm’s coronavirus output, a number of other initiatives have also been implemented that include a range of support for clients and tailored mailings.
Shoosmiths’ coronavirus client task force lead partner, David Jackson said: “We recognised very quickly that our clients wanted to remain connected with us and with others in a similar position and so our support has largely centred around webinars, virtual round table discussions and facilitated conversations involving experts, leading industry figures and government representatives. At this
time of isolation, we want to keep people talking, sharing concerns, ideas and collaborative solutions to the problems we’re all currently facing.”
Some of the most popular articles and webinars so far, include:
