The Future of Sheffield
Like many UK cities, Sheffield is going through a period of major transformation, offering modern new office space, repurposed buildings and making headway on its net zero ambitions.
However, Sheffield is unique as the only city with a national park within its boundary – in fact, 61% of Sheffield’s entire area is green space. As a result, investors and occupiers are keen to hear more about the opportunities and value available in a place which has become known as “the outdoor city”.
In this film production with EG, Sheffield partners, Tom Hall and Kellie Hatton, join a roster of experts to discuss how the city is evolving, and other topics including:
- How the Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park is reviving the city’s entrepreneurial spirit
- How a focus on sport, health and wellbeing can help support its residents through the pandemic and beyond
- The talent available in Sheffield and the incredible opportunities for start-up companies
Joining Tom and Kellie on the film were:
- Kate Josephs, Chief Executive, Sheffield City Council
- Mark Jackson, Development Director at Scarborough Group
- Professor James Marshall, Chief Scientific Officer, Opteran Technologies
