Kudun and Partners Engaged in “Plastic Free July” Movement
The interactive campaign uses Instagram as the main social media platform with the tagline #KAPPlasticFreeJuly allowing the committees to engage every member to share their creativity in a plastic-free lifestyle through Instagram stories for the whole month of July. Additionally, we encourage both firm members and clients to refrain from consuming water from plastic bottles and instead have their water from the water dispenser. Those who could not avoid drinking from plastic bottles were encouraged to donate money for charitable organizations, including Bye Bye Plastic Bags Thailand and Veterinary Medical Aquatic Animal Research Center. The efforts proved successful as the number of bottles was reduced by more than half of what we had thrown away in each of the previous months
Although the campaign has ended, the campaign increases the awareness of how a simple change in one’s daily lifestyle of refraining from single-use plastic can create positive social impacts. This movement also reminds us that the disposal of plastics on land, oceans, and open-air can lead to the release of toxic chemicals that contribute to public health hazards.
Kudun and Partners will continue to integrate the environmentally friendly concept into our daily activities.
