Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles have emerged as a crucial framework for assessing the sustainability and societal impact of businesses. During this business breakfast the focus shall be on the ‘S’ in ESG – the social pillar which focuses on the company’s relations with its workforce, dealing with areas such as labour management, health and safety policies and employee treatment, as well as the company’s impact on society in general. The panel will be discussing best HR practices which companies are implementing at their workplace in alignment with ESG principles. This will be an opportunity to discover what some of Malta’s leading companies are doing in this area. The main legislative framework and changes relating to ESG in employment will also be discussed.
