Competitive Bidding Of Five Pipelines From the CFE (Federal Electricity Commission)
The largest of the pipelines, which will go from El Encino in Chihuahua to La Laguna between Coahuila and Durango, shall be 423 kilometers in length and 1,500 million cubic feet per day. The investment consists of 650 million dollars (md).
The second largest pipeline will start in Waha, Texas, and end in Norte III (Samalayuca) Chihuahua, 300 kilometers and 1,450 million cubic feet per day. The investment consists of 550 md.
The third pipeline in Ojinaga-El Encino, Chihuahua, will have 254 kilometers and 1,350 million cubic feet per day. The investment consists of 400 md.
And lastly, a pipeline that will go from Ehrenberg, Arizona, to San Luis, Rio Colorado, Sonora, of 130 kilometers and 130 million cubic feet per day. The investment consists of 250 md.
The official call is not yet published, however it is anticipated that the above-mentioned pipelines be built by Private Investment in 25-year contracts awarded through competitive bidding.
The gas pipelines should be ready by the end of 2016 and 2017.
