Karanovic & Nikolic is pleased to announce its involvement in advising R&R Ice Cream, a leading ice cream company based in the UK, on Serbian law matters relating to its 50/50 joint venture with Nestlé, the world’s leading nutrition, health and wellness company. It has been reported that the 50/50 joint venture will operate under the name Froneri, and that it will combine Nestle and R&R ice cream businesses in Europe, the Middle East, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, the Philippines and South Africa. The merger in question will make it possible for Nestle to tie its strong brands and wide-reaching presence in convenience stores and ice cream stands with R&R's significant manufacturing ability and access to traditional retailers. Financial terms of the transaction were not publically disclosed.
