Two New Additions for Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek
Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek adds a Salaried Partner in White Collar & Criminal Compliance at its Hamburg office. After two and a half years of practicing at criminal law boutique Langrock Voß & Soyka, Dr. Sabine Ottow (39) returns to Heuking.
Ottow has been a Salaried Partner at Langrock Voß & Soyka since 2017 where she defended clients in several white collar and criminal compliance cases and advised on complex compliance matters. Previously, Ottow had practiced at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Hamburg, most recently as Senior Associate.
“We are very pleased to win Sabine Ottow back for Heuking,” said Managing Partner Dr. Johan Schneider from the Hamburg office. “The increasing need for advice in white collar and criminal compliance matters and the fact that the Hamburg market in particular is lacking lawyers who consistently devote themselves to that field of law has bolstered our decision to strengthen our team with an experienced defense counsel.”
Heuking maintains a renowned practice in white-collar and criminal compliance law, particularly at its Düsseldorf office. As a Salaried Partner, Ottow will now expand that field of law in Hamburg.
Dr. Daniel Lehmann (45) will reinforce Heuking’s Munich office, joining the Private Clients practice group and practicing in the department with Dr. Ulrike Helkenberg and Michael Nusser. Lehmann joins the firm from Baker Tilly, where he has been an Equity Partner in its Private Clients division since 2011. Previously, he was a member of the Private Clients team at Shearman & Sterling.
Lehmann has more than fifteen years of professional experience in advising entrepreneurs and private individuals on commercial and corporate law as well as on corporate and asset succession. Lehmann also has many years of expertise in insurance law. He is the author of several specialist publications and regularly gives lectures. For many years, he has been particularly interested in advising on and assisting in cross-border matters and in European and non-European law.
Jointly with his peers in Munich, he will closely collaborate with the firm’s other offices and further expand Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s international business.
“Cross-border matters and relationships are becoming ever more important to our clients. We are therefore very pleased to have gained a colleague for our Munich office who is particularly renowned in international asset succession and who is an excellent fit with our organization,” Dr. Ulrike Helkenberg, Partner in Munich, commented on Lehmann joining the law firm.
