Spilman Attorney Receives Coal Mining Safety Award

Preservati, as co-owner of coal company Onyx Energy with Gina Boggess, Greg Jessee and Ritch Preservati, recently received the Mountaineer Guardian Safety Award from the West Virginia Coal Association and the West Virginia Office of Miner’s Health, Safety & Training.<br /> <br /> Onyx Energy received the safety award for having a perfect safety record at its Weyanoke surface mine in Mercer County from October 2014 through September 2015. The mine was nominated for the award by a state safety inspector.<br /> <br /> Preservati’s primary area of practice is energy law with emphasis in complex litigation.
