<strong>Roanoke, Va.</strong> – Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced that two of the firm’s labor and employment attorneys were recognized in <em>Virginia Super Lawyers</em> magazine. King F. Tower was named on the Super Lawyers list, and Carrie M. Harris was named on the publication’s Rising Stars list.<br />  <br /> The objective of the <em>Super Lawyers</em> selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas that can be used as a resource to assist attorneys and consumers in the search for legal counsel. The methodology includes a statewide nomination process, peer review by practice area and independent research.<br /> <br /> Tower, a Member of the firm, leads the Roanoke office in its labor and employment practice. He also assists with labor and employment matters in the firm’s Winston-Salem, North Carolina office. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the College of William & Mary.<br /> <br /> Harris, a senior attorney, focuses her practice on litigation matters, with an emphasis on labor and employment law, consumer finance law, and public utility and energy law.
