BOYANOV & Co. Supports Finalisation of AmCham’s Position on the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2030

In April and July 2019, Borislav Boyanov, Managing Partner, chaired and moderated two round tables under the umbrella format of Digital Sustainability Forum on Artificial Intelligence (AI), organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria. Among the participants in the Forum were Mariya Gabriel, in her capacity as EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society; Rosen Zhelyazkov, Minister of Transport and ICT of Bulgaria; AmCham Bulgaria member companies (including Microsoft, IBM, Telelink, BULPROS and Oracle), other leading Bulgarian and international companies and business organisations from the IT sector, as well as representatives of the Bulgarian state administration and the academia.
The Forum lived up to its purpose of serving as a platform for discussion, exchange of expertise and identification of key recommendations for the future of AI in Bulgaria. As a result of the efforts to this effect, in September 2020, AmCham Bulgaria submitted a statement of position with recommendations on the Proposal for National Strategy for the Development of AI in Bulgaria until 2030.
BOYANOV & Co.’s team, led by Nikolay Zisov, partner, and associates Trayan Targov and Deyan Terziev supported the Chamber throughout the whole process, including in the preparation of the position statement.
