PLMJ lawyers Isaque Ramos and Eliana Bernardo have been named among the 40 best lawyers on the Iberian Peninsula under the age of 40 in the categories of best lawyers of the year in tax and life sciences respectively. PLMJ has also received two awards for best team in the areas of M&A and Insurance. With these results, PLMJ has achieved the highest number of awards from Iberian Lawyer in this year's edition. The firm was also in the top five of votes in 18 other individual and team categories.

For Isaque Ramos, a partner in the tax practice, “it is an honour to be recognised with this award which I don't see as an individual recognition, but rather as the recognition of the work that all our young but very competent PLMJ team has been doing in recent years in an area as important as tax law”.

Eliana Bernardo, a managing associate in the area of Health, Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals emphasises that “this award is a very positive landmark in my career and represents an extra motivation in the work I do”.

The awards were announced and handed over at a ceremony in Lisbon where PLMJ was represented by members of the various teams recognised and by Bruno Ferreira, PLMJ's managing partner, who underlined the prestige of Iberian Lawyer and explained that these awards are another important milestone in the recognition and consolidation of PLMJ's strategy”.
