<p>On April 10, Legal 500, one of the most influential international legal ratings, published the results of its regular analysis. Annually, the agency analyzes feedback from more than 250,000 clients and competitors of law firms, as well as information on major company cases.</p> <p>This year, Legal 500 announced the results across two fields of law, which previously had not been surveyed in Russia – <em>White Collar Crime, Compliance and Investigations</em>, as well as <em>Restructuring and Insolvency</em>. Both ALRUD practices were included in the rating and immediately were in top <strong>Tier 1</strong>. Two more ALRUD practices have also risen to Tier 1 – <em>Corporate Law / M&A</em>; <em>Banking and Finance: borrower side</em>. The <em>Competition/Antitrust</em> practice as well as <em>Private Clients</em> practice have once again confirmed their position in Tier 1.</p> <p>The following practices climbed up one position in the 2019 rating:</p> <ul> <li>Banking and Finance: lender / arranger (Tier 2)</li> <li>Dispute Resolution: Litigation (Tier 2)</li> <li>Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure (Tier 2)</li> </ul> <p>ALRUD confirmed its position for the following practices:</p> <ul> <li>Capital and Equity Markets (Tier 2)</li> <li>Labour and Employment (Tier 2)</li> <li>Tax (Tier 2)</li> <li>Technology, Media and Telecommunications (Tier 2)</li> <li>Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and Mediation (Tier 3)</li> <li>Intellectual Property (Tier 3)</li> <li>Public Private Partnership (Tier 3)</li> <li>Real Estate (Tier 3)</li> </ul> <p>For the second time, <em>Alexander Zharskiy</em>, ALRUD Partner, was honored by the Legal 500 rating – <strong>Hall of Fame</strong> in Banking and Finance, Commercial, Corporate and M&A. The Hall of Fame includes leading lawyers who, for many years, have consistently received positive feedback from clients and whose outstanding professionalism has been recognized by the market.</p> <p>ALRUD partners, <em>Anton Dzhuplin</em> (Banking and Finance, Commercial, Corporate and M&A) and <em>Andrey Zharskiy</em> (Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure), have significantly reinforced their positions in the Legal 500 rating; in 2019 they were distinguished as <strong>Leading Individuals</strong>. <em>Vassily Rudomino</em> (Competition/Antitrust), <em>Maxim Alekseyev</em> (Private Clients, Tax) and <em>Irina Anyukhina</em> (Labour and Employment) are also among Leading Individuals from ALRUD.</p> <p>This year, ALRUD Partners, <em>Sergey Petrachkov</em> (Restructuring and Insolvency) and <em>Magomed Gasanov</em> (Dispute Resolution), were honored by the rating for the first time as <strong>Next Generation Lawyers</strong>. ALRUD Partner <em>Maria Ostashenko</em> (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) moved up in the ratings and was distinguished in the Next Generation Lawyer list as well. ALRUD Partner, <em>German Zakharov</em> (Competition/Antitrust), has retained his position in this list for the second year in a row.</p> <p>Besides Partners, the rating for the first time included ALRUD Of Counsels <em>Kira Egorova</em> (Private Clients) and <em>Oleg Ezhov</em> (Commercial, Corporate and M&A), as well as <em>Timur Akhundov</em>, ALRUD Senior Associate (Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure) into the Next Generation Lawyer list. <em>Elena Novikova</em>, ALRUD Of Counsel, increased her position and was also rated on the Next Generation Lawyer in Tax. <em>Ekaterina Rogacheva</em>, ALRUD Associate, has retained her rating position in Capital and Equity Markets, Banking and Finance.</p>
