ALRUD organized seminars for service providers for HNW clients in Liechtenstein
<p>On 28 November, within a day, the ALRUD Private Clients Practice, together with Gasser Partner Rechtsanwalte, held two workshops in Vaduz (Liechtenstein). The speakers of the seminar from ALRUD were Maxim Alekseyev, Senior Partner and Kira Egorova, Private Clients Practice Counsel.</p> <p>The audience of the first seminar included members of The Liechtenstein Institute of Professional Trustees and Fiduciaries. As part of the seminar, the following sensitive issues of the Russian law, from the practical application viewpoint, were presented:</p> <ul> <li>Control and reserved powers vs. discretionary set-ups – what is the best practice from an asset protection point of view?</li> <li>Will the Pugachev case affect the case law of other offshore destinations, including Liechtenstein, and how to avoid those negative consequences?</li> <li>How to protect the rights of forced heirs and what the estate structure should be used?</li> <li><p>Risk and asset management from the perspective of protection and continuity.</p> <p>The second workshop was held for Liechtenstein bankers, dealing with private clients. The following topics were covered:</p></li> <li><p>Actual issues in management the accounts of individuals, compliance;</p></li> <li>Preferable products and services used by Russian customers;</li> <li>Dealing with CRS in Russia.</li> </ul>
