With a team led by Alexander Weber, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised brutkasten GmbH on the acquisition of the VentureCapital Magazin business unit from GoingPublic Media AG. Since 2000, the VentureCapital Magazin platform (magazine, www.vc-magazin.de, Private Equity Flash newsletter) informs investors, entrepreneurs, and intermediaries about trends, transactions, and backgrounds around private equity, entrepreneurship, and technologies.
Buyer brutkasten is a leading German-language medium and media platform for start-ups, the digital economy, and venture capital.
In 2019, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek had already advised brutkasten on the acquisition of StartingUp magazine. Following the current acquisition, VentureCapital Magazin will also become part of Russmedia group, an internationally operating media company based in Austria.
