Wilson has spent more than a decade at a number of other firms, largely practicing in tax, estate planning and estate administration. He shared his thoughts on why Dinsmore was the best fit for his practice, values and community work. Read what he had to say below:
I decided to join Dinsmore because of the firm’s prestigious reputation, nationwide presence and commitment to LGBTQ+ equality. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, it was vital for me to join a team that shares my values and in which I could thrive.
When it comes to thriving, the practice of law demands the whole of your person: energy, talents, heart and spirit. I have spent decades in environments where I could not bring my whole self to the table, and the impact of that was profound. Surrounded by the Dinsmore LGBTQ+ affinity group, which boasts more than 200 attorneys and staff members, I am now one of many whose whole self is affirmed, celebrated, and cultivated to thrive.
My practice centers around families, and I work hard to advance and protect the best interests of all my clients, including my LGBTQ+ clients. In addition to my practice, I also volunteer for the Human Rights Campaign as a member of its Columbus Steering Committee to assist in its efforts to advance full equality in Ohio and across the nation.
