Asters has adapted corporate website for people with visual impairment

November, 2021 - Kyiv, Ukraine

Asters is the first Ukrainian law firm that adapted its corporate website for the use by people with visual impairment. Starting from November 2021 the website includes new options with enhanced contrast and larger fonts allowing users to review content in the most comfortable way.

Adaptation of the corporate website is a logical step within Asters barrier-free and inclusion strategy. Earlier the firm established an internal Diversity & Inclusion Committee and implemented a number of related initiatives, such as support of the She Is Science project promoting gender equality and Women's Initiative for Networking and Success (WINS) launched by Lex Mundi. Asters also became the first Ukrainian law firm that signed the UNFPA Declaration for Gender Equality and Prevention of Domestic Violence.

Asters Senior Partner Armen Khachaturyan comments: "We at Asters understand that as one of the leaders in the legal market, the firm must provide high-quality services and profound expertise in various sectors of law. But it is equally important to support the global initiatives having positive impact on the society, implement them in Ukraine, and inspire others to join. We are happy that our adapted website will give a chance for more people to access its useful content".
