Leading law firm Shoosmiths has advised Global Critical Logistics (GCL) and its subsidiary Rock-it Global on its acquisition of Dynamic Freight International and Dynamic Doxynamic Dox (collectively ‘Dynamic’).

Headquartered in Los Angeles, GCL is the holding company for renowned Rock-it Global – a provider of freight forwarding and logistics for the entertainment, music touring, sports, broadcast, film and TV industry. The firm’s acquisition of Dynamic, a specialist international freight forwarder based in Berkshire, will further increase its presence in the UK as one of the top international logistics providers for film and TV productions. This development will bring further growth, with key customers that require global services.

A further boost for the Shoosmiths corporate team’s prominence within the logistics sector, the acquisition was led by head of venture and growth capital at Shoosmiths Alastair Pee. He was supported by principal associate David Meisel, associates Jordan Hollingsworth and Alice Sedgley, and paralegal Sharon Nicholls. Employment support was provided by Pav Clair, property advice from Catherine Hood and tax expertise from Laura Board. The law firm’s collective experience and credentials in the logistics sector spans its corporate, employment, real estate and business advisory divisions – boasting global client lists working across ground-breaking deals and projects.
