In the past year, the sporadic rebound of the pandemic in various parts of the country has continued to affect work and life. Amid macroeconomic strains, all sectors struggled but faced adversities head-on. China's legal market is a perfect footnote to companies rising to the challenge. Law firms have leveraged their strengths to expand the scope and depth of their business, continued to improve their service capabilities and, in some cases, set fresh annual revenue records.
As always, during this year's selection process, CBLJ conducted months of independent, objective and impartial research and evaluation by collecting law firm submissions and listening to industry feedback. Eventually, top-performing law firms in 2021 were carefully selected from hundreds of submissions and more than 1,000 comments from corporate executives, in-house counsel and senior practitioners.
