Han Kun partner Hong Huang named as a CLECSS Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyer for 2022
CLECSS recently announced Han Kun partner Hong Huang has been named as one of the CLECSS Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers for 2022.
Ms. Huang specializes in the areas of venture capital and private equity, offshore securities offerings and restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Huang has participated in a large number of complex equity and asset transactions and has provided full-scope legal services to numerous private equity funds, venture capital funds, and leading internet companies in relation to their equity investment and acquisition transactions. Ms. Huang has assisted corporate clients with their initial public offerings, equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She has also acted as the PRC legal adviser for issuers and sponsors in certain companies'initial public offerings on overseas stock exchanges. Ms. Huang has advised clients in a variety of industries, including Internet, telecommunications, e-commerce, culture and entertainment, fintech, healthcare, consumer, and semiconductor.
Ms. Huang received an LL.B. degree from East China University of Political Science and Law, where she later received an LL.M. degree. She also received a B.A. degree from Shanghai International Studies University.
CLECSS developed the list of Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers for 2022 after a two-month assessment of various aspects of the candidates, including educational background, practice field, work location, gender, etc. Most of these 12 outstanding talents named in the final list are from PRC firms, and several work for foreign firms or barristers'chambers in Hong Kong SAR. The winners are based in locations across Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. According to CLECSS, the 12 were selected for their pursuit of excellent professional skills, willingness to share, and possessing outstanding youthful qualities.
