Rong (Reese) Huang
Ms. Huang mainly focuses on venture capital and private equity investment, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, insurance fund investment, and general corporate matters. Ms. Huang has provided legal services related to domestic and overseas financing and investment to many private equity funds, venture capital funds, well-known enterprises, insurance companies, as well as start-ups and entrepreneurs in various industries, such as the Internet, technology, insurance, consumer goods, real estate, healthcare, and banking and finance. Her main responsibilities include designing transaction structures, drafting legal documents, and negotiating and resolving PRC law-related issues.
Rui Huang
Ms. Huang specializes in VC/PE financings and investments, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, and onshore and overseas listings and restructurings. She has in-depth knowledge of and extensive experience in policies, structure design, capital operation, industrial investment and project operations for relevant industries. Ms. Huang has represented many well-known companies, investment funds, start-ups, and fast-growing companies in a wide variety of cross-border transactions in diverse industries such as telecommunications, the Internet, technology, entertainment and media, consumer goods retail, education and training, manufacturing, biotechnology, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.
Xiao Li
Mr. Li's major practice areas include real estate investment trusts, asset securitization, infrastructure, and real estate M&A, investment and financing. Mr. Li has long engaged in legal practice and research related to real estate investment trusts, asset securitization, and structured financing products and has developed expertise in these areas. He has hosted/participated in projects concerning credit/enterprise asset securitization, asset-backed notes and other asset management or structured financing products, covering nearly all major product types issued on exchanges and the Inter-bank Market, such as quasi-REITs, ABS, CMBS, ABN, and CMBN, many of which were of groundbreaking significance. Mr. Li has extensive experience in project investment, mergers and acquisitions, bulk transactions and public-private partnership projects in industries such as water resources, solid waste, new energy, rental housing, data center, rail transit, express highways, industrial parks, and warehousing and logistics. He is able to provide full-scope services in terms of project investment, asset acquisition, fund establishment, and access to capital markets. He has also provided legal services throughout many real estate mergers and acquisitions, bulk property transactions, and real estate structured financing projects.
Lifeng Lu
Mr. Lu's practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, labor law matters, and corporate compliance matters. He has extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, and has handled various types of cases covering areas such as investment and financing, international trade, real estate and construction, intellectual property, shareholders’ rights and interests, product liability, and letters of guarantee. Mr. Lu is also adept in advising clients on labor law matters relating to employee benefits, layoffs, the employment of foreign nationals in China, non-competition, etc., and is experienced in resolving various types of labor disputes.
Jin Qian
Mr. Qian's major practice areas include private equity fund formation, asset management by financial institutions, and insurance funds investment. Mr. Qian began his legal practice nine years ago and has advised many top-tier and fast-growing fund managers on formation, management, and operation of onshore and offshore fund entities, covering various fund types such as private equity funds, private venture capital funds, private securities funds, government industrial funds, and funds of funds. He has also provided legal services to large-scale securities companies and mutual fund companies in China for matters such as formation and compliant operation of funds, and advised large insurance companies on investing in onshore and offshore private funds.
