Han Kun welcomes Ms. Jian Zhang in joining the firm as a partner, further strengthening the firm's IP practice
Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that Ms. Jian Zhang has recently joined the firm as a partner, further strengthening Han Kun's IP practice capabilities. She will mainly be based in the firm's Beijing office.
Ms. Zhang's practice focuses on IP-related legal services, especially in relation to patents. She has extensive experience in patent invalidation, IP infringement litigation, administrative litigation, and licensing, and is particularly excels at patent prosecution and dispute resolution in technical fields such as telecommunications, computers, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and signal processing. She also provides legal advice for a variety of matters including patent analysis, IP due diligence, and IP strategy design.
Ms. Zhang has represented many high-tech multinationals in complex patent disputes and has also assisted clients in negotiating patent licenses for global patent portfolios in several projects. Ms. Zhang is experienced in infringement litigations and invalidations relating to standard essential patents (SEP) and non-SEPs in electronics and has handled a number of influential cases in the field.
Before joining Han Kun Law Offices, Ms. Zhang has practiced Chinese IP law for more than 14 years with a boutique IP law firm in China. She is a member of the PRC Bar and a member of the PRC Patent Bar.
