Han Kun authors the China chapter of Chambers Shareholders' Rights & Shareholder Activism 2021 Global Practice Guide
The world's leading legal directory Chambers and Partners recently published its Shareholders' Rights & Shareholder Activism 2021 Global Practice Guide (the "Guide"). Han Kun's corporate compliance and commercial dispute resolution practice groups exclusively contributed. This year's contributors include David Tang, Michelle Gon, Jun Li, and Denning Jin.
The Guide covers 16 jurisdictions and provides the latest legal information on voting requirements and the proposal of resolutions, shareholders' rights to appoint/remove/challenge directors and in the event of liquidation/insolvency, shareholder activist strategies, and remedies available to shareholders against the company and directors.
Han Kun's corporate compliance practice group comprises over 40 professionals, all of whom graduated with law degrees from top universities in China or abroad, have excellent language skills, and work proficiently in foreign languages. We represent clients across a full spectrum of corporate compliance, including anti-trust, anti-corruption, anti-unfair competition, anti-fraud, anti-sexual harassment, anti-money laundering, export control, anti-sanction, data and cybersecurity, criminal law compliance, and other general corporate and compliance matters.
Han Kun's commercial dispute resolution practice group comprises nearly 70 professionals. They have acted as representatives in important litigations, arbitrations, or administrative review cases of both domestic and foreign courts, arbitral tribunals, or administrative agencies, and have a profound and unique understanding of the operation of the legal system and specific judicial practices. Many lawyers in the practice are also members of bars in the United States, Hong Kong, and other jurisdictions. We can provide legal services to clients in multiple languages and ensure that our clients receive comprehensive dispute resolution legal services—across jurisdictions, languages, fields, and industries.
