Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that Ms. Dana Wu has recently joined the firm, further strengthening Han Kun's cross-border practice capabilities. She will mainly be based in the firm's Shanghai office.
Ms. Wu focuses her practice on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, capital markets, outbound investments, and general corporate matters. She has extensive experience handling complex legal and commercial issues relating to a wide variety of industries and business activities. Ms. Wu frequently represents multinational companies, private equity funds and venture capital funds, and start-up companies in their acquisitions, investments, financings, and divestments in China. She has in-depth knowledge of complicated cross-border transactions involving multiple jurisdictions. Ms. Wu also advises Chinese state-owned and private companies on their outbound acquisitions and investments in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Ms. Wu represents clients across diverse industries, including technology, biomedical, automotive, chemicals, industrial product manufacturing, real estate, and finance. Before joining Han Kun, Ms. Wu practiced law with Jones Day in Shanghai for over 15 years.
Ms. Wu received her LL.B. degree from Peking University, and then received an LL.M. degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Wu holds a PRC bar qualification and is also a member of the New York State Bar.
