Han Kun partner Qing Jing named as a CLECSS Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyer for 2021
CLECSS recently announced Han Kun partner Qing Jing has been named as one of the CLECSS Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers for 2021.
As a Han Kun partner, Ms. Jing focuses her practice on onshore and offshore fund formation and asset management. Ms. Jing has extensive experience in private investment fund formation and investment, having specialized for many years in advising on the formation of onshore and offshore funds and asset management. Ms. Jing has represented dozens of international and domestic hedge funds, private equity funds, trust companies, insurance companies, and fund business subsidiaries of securities companies in a large number of funds and the design and formation of other investment products. She is deeply involved in advising on the operation the formation of private equity funds and asset management plans, including in terms of regulatory and compliance, corporate governance, and equity incentive and personnel arrangements. She has also represented dozens of international asset management companies in forming QDLP, QDIE, and QFLP funds in various pilot areas.
Ms. Jing received an LL.M. degree from Cornell Law School in the United States, an LL.M. degree from China University of Political Science, and her LL.B. degree from the Northeast University of Finance and Economics.
CLECSS developed the list of Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers for 2021 after a three-month assessment of various aspects of the candidates, including educational background, practice field, work location, gender, etc. Of those 12 outstanding talents named in the final list, most of them are from domestic firms, and several work for foreign firms, and the winners are based in locations across Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. According to CLECSS, these 12 outstanding young lawyers were selected because they possess the persistence to cultivate their professional skills and the willingness to share.
