Han Kun's Hong Kong associated law firm welcomes new partner
Han Kun's Hong Kong associated law firm expands its cross-border private equity and mergers and acquisitions practice with the appointment of Ms. Lei (Angela) Cui to the firm.
Ms. Cui's practice primarily focuses on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and complex commercial transactions. Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Cui had practiced at a few leading international law firms in Hong Kong for over a decade, accumulated extensive experience and is highly regarded by her clients. Ms. Cui represents private equity funds, financial institutions and other alternative asset management firms in transactions including investments in private and public companies in various forms of equity and debt investments and structured financing, spanning a broad range of industries, such as consumer, education, TMT, healthcare, new energy, hospitality and real estate. She also represents strategic investors and multi-national companies in cross-border M&A transactions and acquisition financings that involve complex structuring and regulatory issues across multiple jurisdictions. In addition, Ms. Cui advises clients on matters relating to their post-investment and portco operations, including structuring and setting up of incentive plans, trust and other investment vehicles.
Ms. Cui graduated from Peking University with an LL.B. Degree and an LL.M. Degree, and from New York University School of Law with an LL.M. Degree.
Ms. Cui is qualified to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong and as an attorney in the State of New York and has obtained PRC bar qualification.
