Han Kun's Hong Kong associated law firm welcomes two capital markets partners

Han Kun's Hong Kong associated law firm boosts its capital markets practice with the appointment of two partners Ms. Ethle Tang and Ms. Tao Li.

Ms. Tang has over 14 years of experience in advising clients on a wide variety of corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on securities offerings and cross border mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Tang has represented issuers and underwriters in IPO transactions, and has been involved in many first-of-its kind Hong Kong IPOs, including the first PRC trust company IPO, the first RMB equity offering and the first A followed by H listing. She has recently represented several Chinese companies and funds in their strategic investments in Hong Kong listed companies. She is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Tang was a counsel at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP's Beijing and Hong Kong offices.

Ms. Li has over 11 years of experience in Hong Kong capital markets and general corporate matters. She represented clients in the TMT, consumer, real estate, financial institutions, energy and industrial sectors on many high-profile Hong Kong Stock Exchange listings. Recent representations include the listings of Qeeka Home, Honma Golf, Zhou Hei Ya, JNBY and Zhenro Properties. Ms. Li is fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese. Ms. Li started her legal career at the Beijing office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and prior to joining the firm, Ms. Li worked at the Hong Kong office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
