Han Kun Partner Chengyao (Aaron) Zhou included in ALB's list of China's Rising Lawyers 2018
ALB released the list of China's Rising Lawyers 2018 on July 20, 2018. 15 ambitious young lawyers across China are spotlighted because of their potential to become the next power players in the legal industry. Their growing record of achievements, coupled with their expanding client portfolio, make a solid case for why they have what it takes to climb to the top. Han Kun Partner Chengyao (Aaron) Zhou is included in this list.
Mr. Zhou is a member of the PRC and New York State Bars. His practice focuses on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investment, as well as capital markets. Mr. Zhou has more than a decade of legal experience. He has represented many renowned multinational and PRC companies in their cross-border and domestic merger and acquisition transactions, and has acted for many foreign and domestic funds and companies in their private equity financing and venture capital investment projects, in which he has provided a full range of legal services, including deal structuring, legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, and leading negotiations. Mr. Zhou has also helped many well-known PRC companies in their IPOs and bond issuances on overseas stock exchanges.
These 15 Rising Lawyers were selected from hundreds of applications from law firms across China. The list was chosen based on the following criteria:

2. important deals or cases
3. significant work in the last 12 months
4. clients the candidate has acted for
5. significant accolades the candidate has received for work in the form of public recognition, awards etc.
To be considered as a Rising Lawyer, individuals need to either be under the age of 40 or have no more than 15 years of professional legal experience.
