Mamo TCV Advocates is pleased to announce that Dr Jonathan Abela Fiorentino, Dr Christine Calleja and Dr Mikiel Calleja will be appointed partners of the firm with effect from 1st July 2022.
Jonathan obtained his Doctoral degree in Law from the University of Malta in 2006, and a Masters in European and Comparative Law (LLM) from the same university in 2007. He joined the firm’s litigation team as a senior associate in in January 2015. His main areas of practice are corporate litigation, mediation and ADR. In 2021, he obtained certification as Accredited Mediator in civil and commercial matters, having successfully completed the London School of Mediations’ International Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediation Training Course, and subsequently registered as Accredited Mediator at the Malta Mediation Centre.
Christine trained at the firm and joined as an associate when she graduated Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2011. She also obtained a Masters in European and Comparative Law (LLM) from the University of Malta in 2012. Her main area of focus is employment and industrial relations law and she also acts for a number of insurers in non-life-business related claims. Christine is also one of the founding members of the Maltese Employment Lawyers Association and she regularly delivers seminars and lectures for practitioners in the field.
Mikiel graduated Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2013. He furthered his studies at University College London, where he obtained an LL.M in Environmental Law and Policy and joined the firm’s corporate and commercial and capital markets teams shortly afterwards. He has extensive experience in corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets and has taken a leading role in advising on a number of the debt and equity listings.
