Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that Ms. Yanlei He and Mr. Min Duan have joined the firm as partners. Both partners work primarily in the firm's Beijing office.

Before joining Han Kun, Ms. He had practiced in prestigious international and Chinese firms for more than ten years and worked as the legal director of a foreign-invested Internet company for seven years. Ms. He has extensive corporate practice experience, with an emphasis on cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and capital markets. She also advises clients on a variety of general corporate matters. She has advised industrial companies, financial institutions, international and domestic high-tech companies in various industries, as well as foreign-invested and state-owned enterprises and start-up companies.

Before joining Han Kun, Mr. Duan was a partner at Morgan Lewis, one of the largest law firms headquartered in the United States. His practice areas include inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions, private equity financings, tax and regulatory advice on various complex cross border transactions covering M&As, overseas greenfield investment and IP licensing. Mr. Duan specializes in assisting clients to design transaction structures and prepare documentation that both meet business objectives and comply with legal requirements. Mr. Duan has represented Chinese and international companies in a variety of corporate transactions, including acquisitions by Chinese buyers of US public and private companies or assets and acquisitions by foreign investors of various Chinese companies.
