On February 24, China Business Law Journal (CBLJ) announced the winners of the 2016 China Business Law Awards in its February 2017 issue. Han Kun was honored as "Firm of the Year" in the following 3 practice areas:
1. Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Firm of the Year
2. Private Equity & Venture Capital Firm of the Year
3. TMT Firm of the Year
China Business Law Journal's China Business Law Awards are based on hundreds of nominations received from China-focused corporate counsel and legal professionals around the world. In determining the winners, the nominations (and the justifications provided for each nomination) were considered carefully in combination with other factors, such as each firm's landmark deals, cases and other notable achievements over the past year. Law firm clients were widely consulted with and a large number of surveys were conducted to ascertain the level of satisfaction with the services provided by each firm.
