Mr. Xiaoming Li joins Han Kun

Kun Han Kun is pleased to announce that Xiaoming Li has joined the firm as of January 1, 2017.

Mr. Li is a recognized leader in the Chinese legal market for the past 20 years with extensive experience in cross-border finance and M & A transactions. He has also been a lead lawyer in a number of high-profile international litigation matters. Mr. Li started his legal career in 1990 with Debevoise & Plimpton, first in New York and then in Hong Kong. He returned to his native city of Beijing in the spring of 1999 and joined as a partner of what later became King & Wood Mallesons. In January 2005, Mr. Li joined White & Case, a large New York-based international law firm as partner and head of China. He served in that position until his retirement from White & Case at the end of 2016.

Mr. Li has been consistently ranked by Chambers, Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal as a top tier lawyer in his field. He is also active in educational and pro bono activities. We are confident that Mr. Li's stature and experience will lend well to the growth of Han Kun in particular and to the development of China's legal market as a whole.
