Han Kun wins two awards at ALB's inaugural China Regional Law Awards 2022: East China

On August 19, 2022, Asian Legal Business (ALB) announced in Shanghai the winners of its ALB China Regional Law Awards 2022: East China, which is open to "local" law firms headquartered in Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Shanghai ("East China") and "non-local" law firms headquartered in other regions with branches/offices in East China. Han Kun won in the following two award categories, owing to the firm's outstanding practices in East China:
■ M&A Deal of the Year: East China - J&T Express China's US$1.1 billion acquisition of the express delivery business of BEST Inc. (NYSE: BEST) in China
■ Young Lawyer of the Year: East China - Non-local – Stephen Dong
These prestigious awards pay tribute to the outstanding performance of private practitioners, in-house teams, and law firms in the East China legal market, which covers five provinces and one municipality: Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Shanghai. The awards aim to recognize exceptional accomplishments and efforts to spur more legal teams and practitioners to pursue and contribute to professional excellence.
