Heuking Advises Triton and Management on the Sale of Dogado Group to Cinven and OTPP
A Private Equity team of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised European Directories Group, a portfolio company of Triton Partners, and its management led by CEO Daniel Hagemeier on the sale of dogado group to investors Cinven and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board (OTPP).
As a specialist for cloud-based hosting and digital marketing, dogado group is a leader in the hosting market in the German-speaking region of Europe. During the joint partnership between Triton, the other shareholders, and management, dogado group was able to develop into one of the leading business customer providers for cloud hosting and digital marketing in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Today, some 500 employees work in offices in Dortmund, Vienna, Zurich, Hanover, Halle (Saale), Lübeck, Oberhausen, and Dresden. With the dogado, METANET, Herold, checkdomain, profihost, easyname, and alfahosting brands under its umbrella, the group serves around 380,000 customers.
Triton invests in high-growth medium-sized businesses in German-speaking and Nordic countries, the Benelux region, France, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom, and currently holds stakes in 49 companies in Europe with combined sales of around EUR 18.1 billion.
