Han Kun joins the "X-Reality and Metaverse Industry Alliance (XRMA)"

The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology ("CAICT") has led the establishment of the X-Reality and Metaverse Industry Alliance ("XRMA") in an effort to implement China's national development strategy and jointly build the industrial ecology. So far, the Alliance has attracted nearly 300 institutional members spanning key aspects of the X-reality and metaverse ecosystems, such as virtual humans, immersive audio/video technology, human-friendly terminals, key devices, infrastructure, service platforms, and innovative applications.
Having joined XRMA as an institutional member in September 2022, Han Kun is ready to utilize its years of extensive experience in metaverse, Web3.0, and other general blockchain fields, and work with industry peers and colleagues in a concerted effort to promote healthy, orderly, and benign development of the metaverse ecosystem.
About XRMA Founding Conference
At XRMA's founding conference, speeches were delivered by Wang Lei, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Li Wenhua, member of the Shijingshan District Government's Party group and Deputy District Mayor, and Ao Li, Head Engineer of the CAICT and Chairman of XRMA. Tan Jianrong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the conference as Vice Chairman of XRMA's Special Committee and delivered a keynote speech on "Metaverse: From Concept to Industry", giving an in-depth analysis of the development path of the metaverse.
The XRMA inaugural ceremony was jointly launched by Ao Li, the Chairman of XRMA, and XRMA's Vice Chairman representatives, including Yan Xing, Vice President of Industry Development, Huawei Technologies; Hao Aimin, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Virtual Reality Technology and Systems, Beihang University; Ding Haiyu, Vice Dean of China Mobile Research Institute; Yuan Feng, Vice President of BOE Technology Group; Cheng Lixin, Global Senior Vice President of Qualcomm; Yuan Foyu, Vice President of Baidu Group; Li Yujie, Chairman and President of 263 Network Communications Co, Ltd.; Luan Qing, DWG Vice President of SenseTime; Yan Hongwei, Chairman of Jingle Magic; and Qian Xiaojun, Founder and CEO of Guolian Co., Ltd. The XRMA founding conference created an immersive meeting space which participants could access through multiple terminals such as VR headsets, PCs, and mobile phones to feel as if they were personally in attendance.
About XRMA
In order to explore the new opportunities and new challenges triggered by virtual-real fusion digital network spaces under the metaverse concept, the CAICT, in conjunction with its ecosystem partners, established the X-Reality and Metaverse Industry Alliance (XRMA). The Alliance will conduct follow-up research on key issues such as the technical path and industrial development scenario empowerment involved in the metaverse from the perspectives of technology industry, economic activities, and network society, organize relevant seminars and exchanges, and carry out systematic research on metaverse technologies, industries, standards, and applications. Members will be encouraged to initiate project cooperation in key areas and gather industry consensus to promote the healthy and orderly development of the ecosystem.
