Morgan & Morgan is recognized as Pro Bono Leading Lights 2022.

For ten consecutive years, Morgan & Morgan has received the “Leading Lights” recognition in Latin America for the firm´s Pro Bono program. In Panama, only Morgan & Morgan achieved this status, sharing honors with leading regional firms.
This distinction is granted annually by Latin Lawyer, who, together with the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, investigates the institutionalization of the practice within the firms and the participation of their legal team.
In 2022, Morgan & Morgan advised two important laws regarding mental health and a protection system for children and youth. In addition, the firm reaffirms its commitment to offer legal advice to more than 20 non-for-profit organizations (NGOs) such as Banco de Alimentos Panama (our local food bank), Museum of Contemporary Art (Panama), Operation Smile (Panama Chapter), the National Theatre of Panama, the Panamanian Chamber of Social Development (CAPADESO), among others, who received legal guidance and training on issues related to corporate, labor, tax and intellectual property. Morgan & Morgan also supports entrepreneurs through an alliance with the City of Knowledge´s Innovation Center.
We are very proud of the 40 lawyers of the firm who participated in this program in 2022, contributing more than 800 hours of pro bono work.
