DFDL Sponsors EuroCham Gender Equality Event

DFDL Cambodia is thrilled to have the honor of celebrating International Women’s Day 2023 by sponsoring and participating in a discussion on gender equality on Tuesday, 7 March, in Phnom Penh.
The event, organized by the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham), will be held at 4pm at Raintree with a prestigious guest list of senior government officials, local business leaders such as Vinci Construction Grands Projects, CBRE and DFDL’s own legal experts.
The opening remarks will be delivered by Julie Kéo (Business Development Specialist at DFDL and EuroCham’s Board Member) who will introduce a panel discussion that will include Her Excellency Chan Sorey, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, His Excellency The Chhunhak, Director General of the General Directorate of Gender Equality and Economic Development.
The dignitaries will be joined by thought leaders from the private sector and development agencies: Ms. Sandra Bernklau, Representative at UNFPA, Ms. Sandrine Boucher, Country Director for Cambodia of Agence Française de Développement, Mr. Narath Chheav, Managing Director at CoGen Consulting and Eurocham’s Board Member, Mr. Cédric Roude, Branch Director of Vinci Construction Grands Projects, to discuss gender bias in the workplace. DFDL’s Raksa Chan (Senior Consultant and member of Labor Practice Group) will give a presentation on the legal framework related gender equality.
The event will by followed by a networking event on the scenic Raintree rooftop terrace!
