CoBe Capital, advised by Heuking, acquires LOGOCOS Naturkosmetik from L’Oréal

A team led by Heuking Partner Dr. Jörg aus der Fünten advised international financial investor CoBe Capital on legal and tax matters in relation to the acquisition of L’Oréal Deutschland GmbH’s natural cosmetics business, including the acquisition of LOGOCOS Naturkosmetik GmbH & Co. KG. Closing of the transaction has already occurred.
CoBe Capital LLC is a global private investment firm based in New York, which specializes in the acquisition and operation of non-core and underperforming business units in the Americas and Europe from leading global corporations.
LOGOCOS Naturkosmetik, with headquarters in Salzhemmendorf, Germany, is a cosmetics manufacturer of three complementary all natural beauty brands and private label personal care. In addition, LOGOCOS has “market-leading brand awareness, high-quality innovation capabilities, diversified distribution channels, and a state-of-the-art and green manufacturing site,” according to CoBe Capital Managing Director Darren Chaffee.
The team led by Dr. Jörg aus der Fünten has regularly advised CoBe Capital on transactions and issues relating to corporate law since 2012.
