Spilman Expands Corporate Team with New Hire
Charleston, W.Va. — Spilman Thomas & Battle (Spilman) announced that Caroline Clark Green joined the law firm as Counsel.
Green’s primary area of practice is corporate law with emphasis on real estate law and utility law. Her real property experience includes preparing lease agreements, right-of-way agreements, easement agreements, and purchase and sale agreements. She also performs oil and gas title examinations, including review of applicable mining and well permits on properties, and drafting corresponding title opinions.
Green also has experience assisting in due diligence and title curative processes for energy companies and performing extensive lease and ownership research to create and update revenue decks for oil and gas wells in West Virginia, Ohio, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Green previously worked for the West Virginia Department of Transportation, OWS Acquisition Company (Formerly EnerVest, Ltd.), and EQT Corporation. She earned a B.S. in Economics from Marshall University and her J.D. and M.B.A. from West Virginia University College of Law.
