JEANTET ADVISES SABENA TECHNICS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACQUISITION OF PART OF THE ACTIVITIES OF AKKODIS (EX-AKKA TECHNOLOGIES)

Paris, February 16, 2023, Jeantet has advised the Sabena technics group, one of the European leaders in the field of aircraft maintenance and modifications, on the acquisition of part of the activities operated by Akkodis (ex – AKKA Technologies), an engineering company.
The Sabena technics group, taken over in 2019 by the Sagard and Towerbrook funds alongside Bpifrance, is continuing its development in Toulouse by integrating into its group, through a new subsidiary (i.e. Sabena technics BGC), the activities Fleet Management & CAMO, Powerplant & APU Borescope, Aircraft Modifications, and Flight Ops & OCC previously operated by Akkodis (ex – AKKA Technologies).
The acquisition of these activities will enable Sabena Technics to strengthen its development in the services sector, since Sabena Technics BGC is expected to carry out between 400 and 500 projects per year on behalf of some one hundred clients in three market segments: airworthiness monitoring, aircraft modifications and flight operations.
Sabena Technics BGC is the twentieth site of the group, which employs 3,500 people worldwide, including 2,500 in France and 1,000 in the Occitanie region, and has a turnover of 700 million euros.
