Gianni & Origoni awarded during 2022 PFI Awards

London February 22, 2023 - International law firm Gianni & Origoni was awarded during the gala dinner organized in London by prestigious magazine Project Finance International.
The firm received the award in the "Europe Portfolio Deal of the Year" category for its assistance to Tages Capital in the green loan-nonrecourse financing in the amount of 1.10 billion euros in favor of Ortigia Power 61 S.r.l., a company indirectly owned by the Tages Helios II real estate fund.

Tages Capital SGR is an asset manager specializing in alternative infrastructure investment funds in the energy sector and, through its funds, now ranks among the leading photovoltaic operators in Italy by installed capacity.
The financing, provided by a pool of eight banks, is the first among those structured by Tages Capital that complies with the "Green Loan Principles" and the "Guidance on Green Loan Principles" issued by the Loan Market Association, in February 2021.
This recognition received by Project Finance International - one of the world's leading project finance journals- further attests the significance of this project in the context of energy transition and renewable energy.
