DFDL Contributes Jurisdiction Focus Article in the Latest Issue of Asian Dispute Review

The DFDL team is pleased to report that Nishant Choudhary (Partner, Myanmar Managing Director, Head of Regional Dispute Resolution Practice), Sophal Yun (Senior Consultant, Dispute Resolution, DFDL Cambodia) and Sovanna Sek (Consultant, Dispute Resolution, DFDL Cambodia) were the featured contributors in the April 2023 issue of the prestigious Asian Dispute Review publication focusing on a useful and timely update on arbitration developments in Cambodia.
The article provides a detailed summary of (1) the law and practice of commercial arbitration in Cambodia under its UNCITRAL Model Law-influenced Law on Commercial Arbitration of 2006, (2) the recognition and enforcement of awards under the New York Convention, pursuant to the Law on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards of 2001, and (3) institutional support mechanisms for arbitration.
