Carey Olsen expands family law practice with latest appointment in Guernsey
Nicola specialises in all aspects of family and private client law including matrimonial matters such as divorce, judicial separation, division of family assets, adoption and issues pertaining to children. Nicola is also an experienced family mediator and regularly assists separating couples and wider families in seeking amicable solutions through the forum of mediation.
Prior to joining Carey Olsen Nicola worked at another specialist litigation, private client, and family law firm in Guernsey. Nicola qualified as an English solicitor in 2002 and as a Guernsey Advocate in 2006.
Guernsey partner Davey Le Marquand said: "Nicola's appointment reflects the continued growth of our service offering in response to the increasing client demand we are experiencing for family law instructions on the island. As a highly experienced and regarded Advocate, mediator and lawyer, we are thrilled Nicola has chosen to join Carey Olsen."
Carey Olsen's family law team advises on a spectrum of matters including asset protection, succession and estate planning, relocation services and trusts, wills and foundations. In addition, the firm advises on pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements and where conflict cannot be avoided, on separation and divorce.
As a full service and integrated firm, Carey Olsen's private client and property teams work in partnership to assist individuals and families involved in such matters.
