Jon Skeeters Discusses Bradley Expansion to Atlanta with Birmingham Business Journal
Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan Skeeters discussed the firm’s recent expansion into Atlanta with the Birmingham Business Journal. It's a move that has been a strategic priority for the firm for years, according to Skeeters.
“It presented an opportunity, we thought, to deepen our bench and better serve our existing clients, and also just keep us competitive for the best work we could get, for the best legal talent that we could attract,” Skeeters told the BBJ.
Skeeters pointed out the firm had already established offices in Charlotte, Nashville and Tampa, making Atlanta a natural next step. Bradley now has over 50 lawyers licensed to practice in Georgia, and he expects the Atlanta office to boost other nearby offices, where many of the firm’s attorneys already serve clients with business interests in Atlanta.
“It just so happened we had an opportunity that we wanted to take in Tampa in 2015, and then Houston in 2016, and then in Dallas in 2019, all the while still continuing to study and explore Atlanta,” Skeeters said. “It just so happened that the sequencing went Florida, then Texas, and now Atlanta.”
Occupying a full, 24,000-square-foot floor of the Promenade Tower in Midtown Atlanta, he said the firm will likely add a handful of additional attorneys in Atlanta over the summer. Bradley now has 11 offices and over 600 lawyers across its footprint, following a recent expansion in Tampa and a big move in Houston.
